Did you know over 80 million cell phones are retired in the United
States each year, with less than 10% being recycled?

Did you know over 400 million printer cartridges are sold in
the United States each year, with less than 20% being recycled?

The Holiday season is fast approaching and Mailboxes are filling up with catalogs, catalogs and more catalogs.

Items needed: Catalogs, Soft Cover books, and Phone books

Each class will create there own tower of catalogs and soft cover books. We will keep a running tally from October 19th - February 26, 2010. The class that builds the biggest tower will receive our Green Room Award. They will be recognized during morning announcements and will have a Snow Cone Party.

We will keep a running tally and announce the top 3 classrooms biweekly over morning announcements.

Ideas for success: Ask family members, co workers and neighbors to help suport your class.
Remember its 4 1/2 months so send in material weekly.
